Anyone can spray sealer on pavers. What makes a seal look great and last is the prep. Here's the process the owners follow on every job.
1. Measure and Inspect
We visit, measure the real square footage, and check for stains, old sealer, loose or sunken pavers, and drainage issues. You get a written estimate with no surprises.

2. Repairs, If Needed
Sunken or broken pavers get fixed first. We work with the highest rated local paver installers to assure your repairs are done correctly before sealing. See paver repairs and leveling.
3. Strip Failed Sealer, If Needed
Cloudy, peeling, or blotchy sealer is removed with brick paver stripping.
4. Deep Clean
Two commercial 8 GPM pressure washers and surface cleaners lift dirt, algae, and mildew evenly without stripes.
5. Treat Stains
Rust, oil, efflorescence, and organic stains are treated with products matched to the surface.
6. Wet-Sand the Joints
ASTM C144 joint sand, in a color matched to your pavers, is washed deep into every joint. Wet sanding compacts better than dry sweeping and dries quickly.
7. Seal
A professional Trident sealer, usually two coats, in the finish you choose. See sand colors and finishes.

8. Clean Up
We rinse walls and landscaping and, on pool deck jobs, clean the pool the same day.
How Long Brick Paver Cleaning and Sealing Takes
Most driveways, patios, and pool decks are cleaned, sanded, and sealed in one to two days. Larger areas, repairs, or stripping an old sealer add time. We schedule around the weather because pavers must be dry before sealing and stay dry while the sealer sets. Read our sealing day prep checklist.
The Equipment We Use
- Commercial surface cleaners for even cleaning without stripes or blown-out joints.
- Professional pressure washers with adjustable pressure for pavers, travertine, and marble.
- Filter socks on pool returns to protect the pool on deck jobs.
- Brooms and blowers to work sand deep into wet joints and clear the surface.
- Professional sprayers and applicators for thin, even coats of sealer.

How long does the whole process take?
Most homes take one to two days. Stripping old sealer, repairs, or heavy stains can add time.
Do I need to be home?
Not for the work itself. We'll confirm access, water, and the plan with you ahead of time.
Why do you wet-sand instead of dry-sweep?
Washing sand into the joints packs it tighter than dry sweeping. The sand dries quickly and is ready for sealer.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Paver Sealing Florida is licensed and insured for all Florida counties, and we provide a vendor packet on request.
Do you guarantee your work?
What equipment do you use to clean pavers?
Commercial surface cleaners and professional pressure washers with adjustable pressure, plus brooms, blowers, and professional sealer applicators.
What is included in brick paver cleaning and sealing?
A full job includes inspection and measuring, any repairs, a deep clean and stain treatment, wet-sanding the joints with ASTM C144 sand, sealing with a professional Trident sealer, and cleanup.
