Most paver sealing jobs look good on day one. The difference shows a year later. Ask these questions before you hire anyone.
- Who will do the work? Owners, a trained crew, or subcontractors?
- Will you measure on site and put the square footage in writing?
- Which sealer will you use, and why is it right for my surface? Travertine and marble need different products than concrete pavers.
- How do you install joint sand? Washing ASTM C144 sand into the joints compacts better than a quick dry sweep.
- How do you handle stains and old sealer? Sealer locks in what's left behind.
- What about sunken pavers? They should be repaired before sealing.
- Are you licensed and insured? Ask for proof. We're licensed and insured for all Florida counties and provide a vendor packet on request.
- What do you guarantee? We offer a Lifetime Guarantee on labor.

Customer Reviews: Hiring a Paver Sealing Company
Sam & Steve did an amazing job re-sealing our pavers. Not only do they come out and quote the job personally, but they also perform the job themselves, so you are dealing with the same folks through the entire process. They were timely, in and out in a day and treated our property very respectfully. They did a great job cleaning up after the job was done and even vacuumed our pool. Our pavers look practically brand new! We will certainly be using them again in the future.
Fantastic job! Very happy with the work. They re-sanded and added three coats of sealer to our pavers. The sealer even hid a few acid stains we had from pool chemicals. You can hardly see it now. They took a lot of care around our pool - using their own vacuum to help keep sand out of the system and a filter to keep the sealer from being recycled through the skimmer. I am super happy with how it turned out and will be calling them back again when it’s time to reseal in a few years :) Thank you!!!
Hired paver sealing for our rear patio pavers around the swimming pool. These guys are professional. They did an amazing job. They kept us in the loop the entire process on what they were doing, when they were arriving, and when they left. We even had to have some pavers replaced by our pool installation company, and the guys came back; and resealed the pavers that were replaced. Great guys to work with! We definitely will have them out again in a couple years when it’s time to reseal again.
Quote Red Flags
- A flat "$99" or very low price with no measurement. Stripping a failed job later typically costs $3.00 to $5.00 per square foot, often double a proper seal.
- No square footage in writing. A real quote is measured on site.
- No mention of joint sand or only a dry sweep.
- One heavy coat promised as "extra protection."
- The same sealer for everything, including travertine and marble.
- Cash-only, no license or insurance, or a crew you've never met.

Tips on Hiring a Paver Sealing Company: 8 Questions to Ask FAQs
Why are some quotes so much cheaper?
Usually less prep: a quick rinse, no joint sand, and one thin coat. It looks good briefly, then fades or washes out.
Should I get a written estimate?
Always, with the measured square footage and what's included.
