Travertine Care and Maintenance Guide
Travertine is a great surface for your hardscape and has an elegant look. Here's a few tips to protect your investment for many years to come based on our 15 years as Travertine Sealing Professionals.
Should I Seal My Travertine?
Absolutely! Properly cleaning and sealing your Travertine project is the final step of the process, and will bring out the natural beauty of the stone. Sealing your Travertine also helps prevent the common problems such as algae growth, weed growth, and fading of the stone's colors by UV rays from the sun.
Should I Have It Grouted?
If you want the absolute best look and protection for your outdoor Travertine project, we highly recommend having the joints grouted as part of the installation process. Grouting your Travertine will provide the strogest and longest-lating bond versus using sand and locking it in like brick pavers.
